Terms of service
The deal. Plainly stated.
By using Receipts Report you agree to what’s below.

Who this is with
Receipts Report is operated by Adaptrex, LLC, a United States limited liability company (“we”, “us”). “Receipts Report” and “the service” mean the websites at receipts.report and any subdomain we run.
What you can do
Use Receipts Report to explore the data, ask questions, save investigations and dashboards, share links. You keep the rights to anything you type or name. Share screenshots, copy numbers, cite our sources — we encourage it.
What you can’t do
Don’t automate mass scraping, resell our output as your own product, impersonate anyone, or target individuals with private information. Don’t try to defeat the rate limits or extract credentials. Don’t upload anything illegal.
We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules. If you’re building on top of Receipts Report for a legitimate reason, email hello@receipts.report.
Subscriptions & billing
Paid tiers are billed monthly through Stripe. You authorize us to charge the payment method you provide at the price shown on the pricing page at sign-up, plus any applicable tax.
Cancel anytime from the billing portal — your access continues until the end of the paid period. Prorated refunds within 30 days by emailing hello@receipts.report. No refunds for usage older than 30 days. If we raise prices for your tier, we’ll email you at least 30 days in advance; you can cancel before the new price applies.
AI-generated content
Receipts Report answers use large language models operating over public data. Every number carries a citation chip linking to the primary-source row it came from. Verify before republishing — models can misread edge cases, and underlying sources (e.g. USAspending.gov, Congress.gov) sometimes restate historical figures.
Don’t treat AI-generated answers as legal, financial, medical, or investment advice.
Service availability
We aim for high uptime but don’t guarantee a specific SLA. Occasional planned maintenance and unplanned outages will happen. For extended paid-tier outages, email us and we’ll credit or refund.
Disclaimers
Receipts Report is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every answer is accurate.
Liability cap
To the maximum extent allowed by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of Receipts Report is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where Adaptrex, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved in the courts of that state, unless your local consumer law grants you a non-waivable right to a different forum.
Changes
If we change these terms materially, we’ll post the new version here with a revised date and — if you have a paid subscription — email you before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date is your acceptance.
