- What it does
- To provide enhanced outreach to eligible Medicare beneficiaries regarding their preventive, wellness, and limited income benefits; application assistance to individuals who may be eligible for LIS or MSPs; and outreach activities aimed at preventing disease and promoting wellness. The benefits available under title XVIII of the Social Security Act, including the Medicare prescription drug benefit under Part D of title XVIII of the Social Security Act and under the Medicare Savings Program, and to coordinate efforts to inform older Americans about benefits available under Federal and state programs.
