- What it does
- The purpose of the HRSA National Organizations of State and Local Officials (NOSLO) cooperative agreement is to assist state and local authorities in: a) improving public health, health care, and health care delivery, b) building capacity to address public health issues and support and enforce regulations intended to improve the public’s health, and c) promoting health equity to preserve and improve public health.

- Who applies
- Eligible applicants include nonprofit service and/or membership organizations that can provide training and technical assistance on a national level to strengthen the infrastructure capacities of states and local government entities. Applicants must be national in scope with a broad reach, and have established long-term relationships with at least one of the following groups: • State Departments of Public Health • State/Territorial/Tribal Health Officials • Local Health Officials • State/Territorial Legislators • State/Territorial Legislative Officials • Behavioral Health Officials • Governors • State Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) Directors • State Medicaid Directors
