- This project will assist the Recipient in accomplishing the public purpose of preserving the cold water habitat in Folsom Reservoir, and downstream in the Lower American River, in order to support critical life stage development of Endangered Species Act (ESA)-listed fish species including Central Valley Steelhead and fall-run Chinook Salmon.
