The Purpose of the Aids Support and Technical Assistance Resources Contract, (aidstar) Is to Establish a Mechanism to Make Technical Assistance and Implementation Support Available to the U.s. Government (USG) in All Countries Where the President?s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief Is Providing Hiv/aids Assistance, Including Both Focus and Non-focus Countries. Sector Ii, Capacity Building, Will Enhance Management Capacity, Skills and Leadership of National and Sub-national Institutions to Deliver Integrated, Sustainable Hiv/aids Services at Scale. Strengthening Capacity of Indigenous Institutions Involved in Hiv/aids Service Delivery Is Essential to Achieving Rapid Scale-up and Results, and to Ensuring Long-term Sustainability of Emergency Plan-assisted Services. Aidstar Will Work to Move Local Organizations to New Levels of Competence, So That They Can Undertake Significantly Expanded Programs With Locally-generated Resources And/or Direct Donor SUPPORT.TAS::19 1031::TAS
