Igf::ot::igf the Purpose of This Effort Is to Perform Final Integration of the Saw Hardware and Software on to the Ptera Uas Conduct Test of the Saw Hardware and Prepare and Execute Two Flight Campaigns. This Work Represents the Culmination of the Design Analysis and Fabrication Performed Under Previous Tasks and Will Conclude With a Ptera Flight Test. in Order to Acquire the Necessary Data Two Flight Test Campaigns Will Be Conducted at the Edwards Air Force Base Dry Lake Bed Specifically the North Bas Uav Work Area. Each Flight Campaign Will Be Scheduled for One Week Straight. the First Flight Campaign Will Perform Maneuvers Defined by Nasa to Allow System Identification of the Ptera Uav. the Second Flight Campaign Will Be Used to Evaluate Vehicle Control Laws. Nasa Is Contracting Area I to Conduct Both Flight Tests of the Saw Technology Aboard the Ptera Uav. This Includes an Area I Produced Pilot Flight Test Conductor GCS Operator GCS Operator Assistant and All Other Required Test Personnel. Additionally Nasa Is Contacting Area Is GCS and Associated Telemetry to Conduct Both Flights. the Ptera Uav Is a Nasa Afrc Owned Vehicle Which Will Be Test Flown on Site in the the Edwards Afb North Base Uav Work Area. as Such Afrc Is Responsible for the Airworthiness of the Flight Test. Airworthiness Will Be Granted by Afrc Following a Successful Project Tech Brief.
