Re-establishing and Sustaining a Working Ecology for Digital Humanities Scholarship [in This Proposal We Request Funding to Address Accumulated Deficits and Delays That Have Resulted From the Covid Pandemic: by Providing Projects With Intensive Student Effort, Overseen by the Digital Scholarship Group and the Nulab, by Supporting Essential In-person Events to Re-establish Project Agendas and Advisory Relationships, and by Supporting Faculty Time Dedicated to Project-related Research and Oversight.] [purpose: This Project Will Allow Northeastern University to Establish and Execute Projects With Extensive Student Participation, to Support Essential In-person Work for Re-starting Digital Projects and Advising Students, to Support Faculty in Necessary Research and Student Oversight, and to Create Professionalization and Work Opportunities for Students. This Will Create and Fund Positions for Students, and It Will Also Support Northeastern?s Seedling Program, a Program That Supports Start-up Digital Projects by Faculty and Students.  Activities to Be Performed:  This Project Will Support Student Workers, Who Will Work on Tasks Related to Ten of Northeastern?s Digital Humanities Projects, Ranging From Archival Processing and Digitization to Creating and Reviewing Materials. This Will Also Fund Two Ma Positions and Two Co-op Student Positions, to Work on Digital Platform Development. Funding Will Also Allow for the Expansion of the Seedling Program, Supporting Start-up Digital Humanities Projects That Focus on Researching and Teaching Ecology at Northeastern. in Total, Funding for This Project Will Support: 8 Undergraduate Research Assistantships, 11 Ma Research Assistantships, 3 Part-time Positions, 1 Summer PHD Research Internship, 2 Undergraduate Coop Positions, 2 Consultants, and 5 Faculty Positions With Summer Research Funding.   Expected Outcomes:  This Project Will Secure Funding and Support for Undergraduate and Graduate Students in Northeastern?s Digital Support Group (DSG). It Will Also Support Faculty, Consultants, and Doctoral Work on DSG Projects and General Research by Digital Humanists. in Total, It Will Fund 32 Positions. This Support Will Allow the DSGS Digital Projects, Which Have Been Significantly Slowed or Delayed by the Pandemic, to Begin Operations and Adjust Their Workload. It Will Also Provide Fiscal Support to Research for Those Stretched Thin by the Pandemic.    Intended Beneficiaries:  This Will Benefit the Current and Future Students, Staff, and Faculty of Northeastern?s DSG. Their Projects and Research, Supported by This Funding, Will Benefit Academic and Public Audiences.   Subrecipient Beneficiaries:  This Award Does Not Intend to Issue Subawards.  ]
