Application Purpose: This Application Funds Capital Expenses That Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus and Its Continued Effects on Public Transit. the Funds Will Be Used to Replace and Maintain Transit Maintenance Assets in a State of Good Repair as Well as Upgrade Technology to Improve Communications and Fare Collection.; Activities Performed: Purchasing New Cad Avl System Shop Equipment and Mobile Fare Collection Equipment.; Expected Outcomes: This Project Will Allow Metro Ride to Procure Its First Ever Cad Avl System Which Will Provide Riders With Up to the Minute Transit Information and Better Communications Between Dispatch and Bus Operators. It Also Will Address Long Needed Replacement of Shop Equipment That Is Beyond Its Useful Life.; Intended Beneficiaries: Residents Students Visitors Businesses and the Transit-dependent Population of the Wausau Wi Area; Subrecipient Activities: No Subrecipients
