This Grant Application Is for a Total of $1749751 With $1399800 Federal and $349951 Local Match. the Local Match Will Be Provided Through the Local Tax Levy.purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Is to Provide One Year of Assistance for the Capital Cost of Third Party Contracting and the Purchase of 6 Replacement Vehicles Over Two Years for Washington County Transit Services to Assist in Fixed Route and Demand Response Transit Services. the Period of Performance for Third Party Contracting Assistance Is 01/01/2022 - 12/31/2022; the Vehicle Replacements Are Expected to Occur Between 01/01/2022 and 12/31/2023. Activities to Be Performed: Activities Included in This Grant Are Vehicle Replacements and the Capital Cost of 3RD Party Contracting. Rolling Stock Being Replaced Will Have Met or Exceeded Its Useful Life of 5 YRS/150000 Miles. Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Washington County Transit Services to Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards Keep Rolling Stock in a State of Good Repair and Continue 3RD Party Contracted Services. Intended Beneficiaries: Washington County Transit Services and the Riders Who Rely on Its Service for Access to Transportation Will Benefit From Continued Service and Reliable Vehicles to Provide the Service. Subrecipient Activities: Nonedocuments Attached to This Application Are: Project Stip/tip Human Services Coordination Plan for Washington County and Funding Distribution Letters From Wisdot and Sewrpc for FY20 21 and 22. in Executing This Grant the Washington County Transit Services Agrees to Abide by Section 3011 of the Fast Act (49 U.S.C.533(J)(2)(C) Regarding the Phased Increase in Domestic Content Under the Buy America Statue for Rolling Stock. as Grant Agreement Includes an Fta-funded Transit Vehicle Purchase Recipient Agrees to Comply With the Related Requirements Set Forth in 49 CFR Section 26.49(A). Specifically Recipient Must Ensure as a Condition of Being Authorized to Bid or Propose on Fta-assisted Transit Vehicle Procurements That Each Transit Vehicle Manufacturer Certified That It Complied With Dot Requirements for Submitting a Dbe Program and Goal to Fta Prior to Bidding. Recipient Is Also Required to Submit the Name of the Successful Bidder and the Total Dollar Value of the Contract Within 30 Days of Making an Fta - Assisted Transit Vehicle Award Using the Required Fta Reporting Tool Recipient Understands That Failure to Comply With These Requirements May Result in Formal Enforcement Action or Appropriate Sanction as Determined by Fta Including Reimbursement of Fta Funds Used for the Vehicle Procurement.
