Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide 2 Years of Operating Assistance and Indirect Costs for the Cowlitz Indian Tribes Transit Program. for the Time-period of 7/1/2023 to 6/30/2025 to Maintain Existing Transit Operations.; Activities Performed: the Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses and Indirect Costs to Maintain Transit Operations. Operating Assistance Expenses Include But Are Not Limited to Driver and Other Operation Workers Wages Salaries and Benefits Fuel and Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One-year.; Expected Outcomes: the Funds Will Assist in Maintaining Reliable Transit Operations Providing Access to Medical Services Social Services Education Employment Recreation and Cultural Activities.; Intended Beneficiaries: Tribal Members and Other Citizens of the Community (general Public) in and Around the Cowlitz Indian Tribe Reservation Including But Not Limited to Clark Cowlitz Lewis and Thurston Counties and the Cities of Vancouver Woodland Longview Chehalis and Olympia.; Subrecipient Activities: N/a
