Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Operating Assistance to Valley Transit for Operating Assistance Covering the Cost of the Operations and Maintenance Department Wages and Benefits in Order to Help Prevent Respond to and Recover From the COVID-19 Pandemic.; Activities Performed: These Funds Will Cover the Direct Costs for the Wages and Benefits Associated With the Operation of Valley Transits Public Transit Services and the Ongoing Maintenance of the Transportation Fleet and Facilities.; Expected Outcomes: Valley Transit Will Be Able to Maintain a Substantial Portion of Its Standard Public Transportation Service on the Road During the COVID-19 Pandemic.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Walla Walla and College Place Residents and the Surrounding Communities Will Be the Primary Beneficiaries of This Project.; Subrecipient Activities: No Subrecioients
