Application Purpose: the FY2021-2022 Section 5307 Funding Will Provide Operating Assistance and Security Services to Support Transit Services Operated by Skagit Transit in the Skagit Public Transportation Benefit Area (ptba).; Activities Performed: Fixed-route and Non-fixed Route Ada Paratransit Operating Assistance and Security Services for the Time-period of 1/15/2023 to 12/31/2023.; Expected Outcomes: the Activities in This Grant Will Assist in Maintaining Safe and Reliable Transit Service to the Residents of Skagit County Providing Access to Jobs Education Social Medical and Retail Services. the Activities in This Grant Will Also Continue to Contribute to the Reduction in Traffic Congestion on Local State and Federal Highways.; Intended Beneficiaries: Beneficiaries Are Commuters Using Vanpool and Commuter Bus Services for Access to Employment Outside the Ptba and Local Employees for Access to Jobs Within the Ptba. Skagit County Residents Also Benefit From the Fixed Route and Paratransit Services Which Provide a Wide Range of Access to Social Medical and Retail Services in the County.; Subrecipient Activities: No Subrecipients
