Application Purpose: This Funding Will Provide 2 Years of Operating Assistance Funding to Sustain Safe Operations for Ben Franklin Transit for the Time-period of 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2023.; Activities Performed: the Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Including But Not Limited to Driver and Other Operation Workers Salaries and Benefits (including Fringe Benefits) Fuel Preventive Maintenance Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year and Supplies Including Personal Protective Equipment Disinfecting Supplies and Equipment. the Funds Will Maintain Transit Operations and Will Assist BFT in Preventing Preparing for and Responding to the Coronavirus Pandemic.; Expected Outcomes: the Funds Will Assist in Maintaining Reliable Transit Service Providing Access to Medical Services Social Services Education Employment Recreation and Cultural Activities.; Intended Beneficiaries: the General Public in the Benton-franklin Public Transportation Benefit Area Boundaries.; Subrecipient Activities: N/a
