This Grant Includes $8460568 in Crrsaa - Fy 2021 Section 5307 Formula Funds Which Is the Full Amount Allocated to Ben Franklin Transit. These Funds Will Be Used at 100% Federal Share for Operating Assistance to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Operating Assistance Costs Include But Are Not Limited to Driver and Other Operation Workers Salaries and Benefits (including Fringe Benefits) Fuel Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year and Supplies Including Personal Protective Equipment Disinfecting Supplies and Equipment.purpose:this Funding Will Provide 1 Year of Operating Assistance Funding to Sustain Safe Operations for Ben Franklin Transit for the Time-period of 1/1/2022 to 12/31/2022.ACTIVITIES to Be Performed:the Funds Will Be Used to Cover Eligible Operating Expenses Including But Not Limited to Driver and Other Operation Workers Salaries and Benefits (including Fringe Benefits) Fuel Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year and Supplies Including Personal Protective Equipment Disinfecting Supplies and Equipment. the Funds Will Maintain Transit Operations and Will Assist BFT in Preventing Preparing for and Responding to the Coronavirus Pandemic. Expected Outcomes:the Funds Will Assist in Maintaining Reliable Transit Service Providing Access to Medical Services Social Services Education Employment Recreation and Cultural Activities. Intended Beneficiaries:the General Public in the Benton-franklin Public Transportation Benefit Area Boundaries.subrecipient Activities:n/a Special Condition the Recipient Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.
