This Grant Includes $28254669 in FY2021 Section 5307 Arp Act Funding for the Bremerton Urbanized Area and $2596520 in FY2021 Section 5307 Arp Act Funding for the Seattle Urbanized Area Which Represent the Full Amounts Sub-allocated to Kitsap Transit to Help Prevent Respond to and Recover From the COVID-19 Pandemic.purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Provide Approximately 1 Year of Operating Assistance to Kitsap Transit to Assist It in Recovering From COVID-19 During the Period Between 1/2021 to 12/2021.ACTIVITIES to Be Performed: Funds Will Be Used to Sustain Operational Services for Kitsap Transits Transit Local Ferries and Fast Ferries Which Promote Transit Service and Improves Rider Safety by Reducing Single Occupancy Vehicles (SOVS) on the Road. Funding Will Be Provided at 100% Federal Share With No Local Match Required. and Will Be Available to Support Operating Expenses Including Administrative Leave to Pay Frontline Workers and Capital Expenses Under Those Programs to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to COVID-19.EXPECTED Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Kitsap Transit to Continue to Provide Operations That Otherwise Would Have to Be Cut Due to Lack of Funding. Intended Beneficiaries: Kitsap Transit and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From Continued Services Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Riders to Get to Essential Services. Subrecipient Activities: Nonekitsap Transit Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.
