See Attached Suballocation Letter From the State of Utah Dated 9/8/2021 Under Application Documents.purpose:the Purpose of This Award Is to Replace Aging Vehicles That Are Beyond Useful Life.activities to Be Performed: the Grant Scope of Work Is to Purchase 6 Replacement 35-FOOT Buses for Fixed Route Service. the Activity in This Grant Is Broken Into Two Separate Projects to Track the Two Different Fund Sources.expected Outcomes: the District Expects to Take Delivery of the Buses in the Spring of 2022. Upon Completion of the Final Inspections Road Tests Buy America and Other Compliance Tests the District Will Place the Buses In-service and Prepare to Dispose of the Buses That Are Being Replaced. the New Buses Are Expected to Function in a Similar Capacity to the Buses Being Replaced.intended Beneficiaries: the New Buses Are Expected to Benefit the Passengers the Drivers and the Community. We Anticipate That the New Buses Will Be Able to Travel More Miles Between Major Service Calls and Provide a More Reliable Service to the Passengers. Additionally the New Buses Will Have Improved Technology and Mechanical Features That Provide the Driver With the Opportunity to Be Safer During Daily Operation. the Community Also Benefits From a Newer Vehicle Both From Appearance and Operation. Subrecipient Activities: Nonethe Matching Funds Will Be Provided From a State of Utah Transit Transportation Investment Fund Grant (state Funds) and a Local Option Sales Tax Dedicated to Transit. the Match Rate in This Award Will Be Funded at 70.4% FEDERAL/29.6% Local Match Due to the Pre-award Nature of This Project.pre-award Authority Is Being Utilized for This Award. the Vehicles Are Already on Order and Will Be Delivered Within the Next Month.
