Application Purpose: This Application Is to Request FY25 Bus and Bus Facilities Formula (section 5339) Funds Apportioned for the Austin Urbanized Area in Fiscal Year 2025 to Purchase Replacement Rolling Stock Buses.; Activities Performed: the Funds Will Be Used to Buy New Buses to Replace Buses Used in Fixed-route Service That Have Exceeded Their Minimum Useful Life.; Expected Outcomes: to Replace Diesel Buses That Have Exceeded Their Minimum Useful Life in Age and Mileage. the Replacement Buses Will Be Hybrid Diesel Battery-electric Buses. These Low-emission Buses Provide Cleaner Air and a Quieter Ride (both Inside and Outside).; Intended Beneficiaries: the Intended Beneficiaries of This Project Are Central Texans. These Activities Support Strategic Priorities and Objectives. for Customers They Help Provide a Convenient Desirable and Accessible Option for Mobility in the Region and Its Various Communities. for the Organization They Enable Capmetro to Deliver on Its Mission Responsibly and Sustainably.; Subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipients.
