Application Purpose: This Application Is to Obligate $750000 in Discretionary Funding Awarded to Capital Metropolitan Transportation (capmetro) Through the Fiscal Year 2021 Pilot Program for Transit-oriented Development (TOD) Planning (section 20005(B)).; Activities Performed: Per Its Proposal Capmetro Will Receive Fta Financial Assistance to Plan for Tod at Eight Proposed Stations Along the 6.5-MILE Light Rail Corridor That Was Formerly Referred to as the Orange Line. the Study Will Focus on a 0.25-MILE Area on Either Side of the Alignment and a 0.5-MILE Around Proposed Stations Along the Corridor. the Final Product of This Equitable Transit-oriented Development (ETOD) Study Will Result in a Corridor Plan That Will Include Station Area Plans Value Capture and Other Innovative Financing Tools and Etod Zoning Regulations to Be Adopted by Project Partners.activities May Include But Are Not Limited to Conducting Public Involvement to Engage the Community Conditions Analysis Etod Study Summary Etod Priority Tool Update Station Area Plans Initiating Regulatory Plans in Coordination With the City of Austin to Implement Final Zoning Land Use and Urban Design Guidelines.; Expected Outcomes: the Final Product of This Etod Study Will Result in Station Area Plans Regulatory Plans and an Etod Study Summary Which Will Include a Corridor Analysis Catalyst Station Analyses and Reference the Etod Strategies Value Capture Tools and a Policy Toolkit. Deliverables Will Also Include Updates to the Existing Capmetro Tod Priority Tool. Capmetro Will Be Leading in Collaboration With City of Austin Housing and Planning Department the City of Austin Transportation Department the Equity Office and Austin Transit Partnership.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Intended Beneficiaries Include Capmetro the Riders of Capmetro Service and Region. the Etod Strategy Will Place an Emphasis on Defining Etod Opportunities Through an Equity Framework and Meaningful Public Participation Especially With Communities at Risk of Displacement.; Subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipient Activities Associated With This Award.
