Application Purpose: the Purpose of Award Is to Provide Capital Assistance to the Brazos Transit District for Bus Facilities Capital Projects Including Replacing Rehabilitating Purchasing and Constructing or Leasing Bus-related Facilities. These Are Infrastructure Projects Aimed at Improving or Expanding Facilities Related to BTD Bus Transportation. These Projects Include Construction Renovation or Enhancement of Various Aspects of BTDS Bus-related Infrastructure.grant Purpose Is Divided Into Three Projects: a.) After More Than a Decade of Our Public Parking Garage Being Open It Is in Need of Some Minor Rehabbing Due to Shifting in the Building and Sidewalks. B.) Our Midtown Bus Terminal Transfer Point Is in Major Need of a Renovation to Include and Bus Exit Out the Back of Property This Is for the Ae Portion. C.) the Third Portion Is to Purchase Facility-installed Bike Racks as Well as to Purchase Bike Racks to Be Installed on the Fixed Route System Buses.; Activities Performed: Funds Will Be Used for Parking Garage Renovation Architectural and Engineering Design Midtown Terminal and Bike Rack Facilities; Expected Outcomes: Investing in BTDS Bus Infrastructure Can Yield a Wide Range of Positive Outcomes for Individuals and Communities in Its Service Area.
