This Application Is to Request Section 5307 Crrsaa Funds Apportioned to the Houston Uza for Fort Bend County Transit as Stated in the Attached Split Letter in the Amount of $5636635.PURPOSE: the Purpose of This Award Is to Purchase Software/maintenance Equipment and Operating Assistance for Fort Bend County Transit to Assist It in Transit Operations During the Period of 6/1/2022 Until 12/31/2027.ACTIVITIES to Be Performed: This Application Utilizes Crrsaa Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. Funds Will Be Used for Payroll and Operating Expenses Including Purchased Transportation Services Fuel and Other Eligible Operating Costs Necessary to Operate Maintain and Manage the Public Transportation System. Other Eligible Costs Will Also Include Software Maintenance Miscellaneous Equipment Personal Protective Equipment and Cleaning Supplies. the Time Period Covering Operating Assistance for This Grant Application Overlaps With Other Fta Funding Below. the Funding Available for These Programs Is Insufficient to Cover Eligible Expenses Within the Period. TX-2020-169-00 TX-2020-093-00 the Split Letter Dated 06/24/2021 Is Attached in Trams.fort Bend County and Its Contractor Are Currently Not Furloughing Any Employees; We Have to the Maximum Extent Possible Brought Back Any Previously Furloughed Employees as of the Time of Certification; and Have Rehired or Posted to Rehire Any Positions of Employees Who Were Laid Off as a Result of Financial Difficulties Caused by the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.per Crrsaa Projects in This Application Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan Statewide Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program. Metro Designated Recipient for Houston Uza Has Deemed the Requirement to Expend at Least One Percent of the Amount Apportioned on Public Transportation Security Projects Unnecessary. Current Annual Security Projects Exceed the 1% Requirement Because Security Expenses Have Been Funded From Local Other Fta and Department of Homeland Security Funds.
