This Grant Will Provide Service to Seniors and Individuals With Disabilities.fwta Is a Designated Recipient of Fta Section 5310 Funding Apportioned to the Dallas-fort Worth Urbanized Area. This Application for Section 5310 Federal Assistance Is Consistent With the Regional Funding Letter Developed on Behalf of the Regions Designated Recipients and Direct Recipients by the Nctcog Dated November 16 2017 and Attached to This Application. It Is Also Consistent With the FY17 - FY20 Tip Stip Document Pages That Are Attached.federal Statute Language:general Statute Languagethis Application Is for Section 5310 Federal Assistance Is Allocated to the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (fwta). Attached to This Application Is the Tip/stip Information. This Fy 2016 Section 5310 Grant Will Continue Operating the Much Needed Tarrant County Transportation Services (TCTS) Ridership Services to Seniors and Individuals With Disabilities That Utilize It in Bedford North Richland Hills Euless Grapevine Haltom City Hurst and Keller and Also in the Fwta Service Area. There Are Also Several Cities That Have Expressed a Need for Additional Services Such as White Settlement Lakeside Lake Worth Haslet and the Alliance Area. These Cities Utilize on Demand Services a Great Deal. This Project Will Provide an Additional Day of Ridership Service to TCTS While Also Adding Transit 101 Training Classes and Mobility Management Coordination Services for Riders. Additionally Fwta Certifies That These Projects Are Included in a Locally Developed Coordinated Public Transit-human Serviced Transportation Plan (coordinated Plan) Developed and Approved Through a Process That Included Participation by Seniors Individuals With Disabilities Representatives of Public/private and Non-profit Transportation and Human Service Providers and Other Members of the Public. Finally the Activities in This Grant Qualify for 5310 Funding Under the 45% Maximum Allowed for Eligible Projects Other Than Those Considered Traditional 5310 Capital Projects. Further the 55% Requirement Is Being Met Through Other Projects Within the Dallas-forth Uza.
