After This APPLICATIONFY24 5307FRANKLIN Transit Authority and Williamson Countyfranklin Transit Will Have $737377.00 Remaining in FFY2021 for Future Applications. Williamson County Vanpool Will Have $517640 Remaining in FFY20 and All of Their FFY21 Allocation. a Table Has Been Attached to This Application Reconciling the Funds. the Total Amount Allocated in the Split Letter Was Not Applied Based on Agency Needs and Other Funds Available.; Activities Performed: This Application Includes Alis for Operating Assistance Preventive Maintenance Rolling Stock Support Vehicle Safety and Security. the Corresponding Tip Pages Have Been Attached to This Application Titled Tip Pages for Franklin Transit and Williamson County. the Franklin Transit Authority Is a Direct Recipient of Section 5307 Program Funds.operating Assistance: This Grant Will Use $905313 in Section 5307 Program Funds for 3A Operating Assistance (ali 30.09.03) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2023 Tip # 2018-65-056). These Funds Will Come From the Fta FY20 and FY21 Federal Allocations (see Attached Letter). the Table 3A Apportionment Table (attached to Project and Application) Shows That the Fy 2023 Maximum Amount of Section 5307 Operating Assistance Allowed Is $905313. the 50% Match of $905313 Will Come From the City of Franklin. Operating Assistance Includes Costs Necessary to Operate Maintain Manage Franklin Transit Such as Administration Salaries and Fuel. Preventive Maintenance: This Grant Will Use $355000 in Section 5307 Program Funds for Preventive Maintenance (ali 11.74.00) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2023 Tip # 2011-65-016).SECURITY and Safety: This Application Also Includes Funding for Security-related Projects to Assist the Transit Administration: Installation of Live Streaming Cameras in the Transit Fleet Facility and Video Management Software/subscription. $60000 in 5307 Funds Are in the Ali 11.42.09. (2023 Tip # 2011-65-016). This Initiative Plays an Important Role in Both the Security and Safety of Transit Personnel Transit Passengers and Equipment. Additional 5307 Funds in the Amount of $40000 Will Be Utilized for Security: In-vehicle Cameras and Tracking. After This Application This Will Leave Williamson County $517640 Remaining in the FY2020 Allocation for Future Applications.
