Application Purpose: This Application Requests $2170489.00 in Section 5307 Federal Funds to Encompass a Project for Franklin Transit Authority and for Its Subrecipient Williamson County Government. the Franklin Transit Authority Is Requesting $1704741.00 in Section 5307 Federal Funds Allocated in the Federal Fiscal Year 2018 (FFY2018 $324431) 2019 (FFY2019 $1230000) and 2020 (FFY2020 $150310 Apportionments as Described in the Attached Split Allocation Letters Dated December 18 2018; September 10 2019; and August 11 2022 Respectively and to Cover Expenditures Incurred in FY2023: October 1 2022-SEPTEMBER 30 2023. After This Application-- FY23FRANKLIN Transit Authority and Williamson County--franklin Transit Will Have $699690.00 Remaining in FFY2020 for Future Applications.the Subrecipient Williamson County Will Use Funds for Operating Assistance (table 3A) in the Amount of $465748 for Its Regional Commuter Vanpool Program. This Amount Utilizes Its FFY2019 5307 Apportionment and Leave $23087 Remaining in FFY19 Dollars. ; Activities Performed: This Application Includes Alis for Operating Assistance Preventive Maintenance Rolling Stock and Security. the Corresponding Tip Pages Have Been Attached to This Application Titled Tip Pages for Franklin Transit and Williamson County. the Franklin Transit Authority Is a Direct Recipient of Section 5307 Program Funds. Operating Assistance: This Grant Will Use $886461 in Section 5307 Program Funds for 3A Operating Assistance (ali 30.09.03) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2021 Tip # 2018-65-056). These Funds Will Come From the Fta FY18 Federal Allocation (see Attached Letter). the 50% Match of $886461 Will Come From the City of Franklin. Operating Assistance Includes Costs Necessary to Operate Maintain Manage Franklin Transit Such as Administration Salaries and Fuel. Preventive Maintenance: This Grant Will Use $293280 in Section 5307 Program Funds for Preventive Maintenance (ali 11.74.00) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2020 Tip # 2011-65-016).SECURITY and Safety: This Application Also Includes Funding for Security-related Projects to Assist the Transit Administration: Installation of Live Streaming Cameras That Are Placed in All Transit Buses Removal of Old Equipment and Video Management Software/subscription. $25000 in 5307 Funds Are in the Ali 11.42.09. (2021 Tip # 2011-65-016). This Initiative Plays an Important Role in Both the Security and Safety of Transit Personnel Transit Passengers and Equipment. These Funds Will Be Simultaneously Applied Toward the 0.75% Safety Requirement and Will Be Tracked.rolling Stock: This Award Will Use $500000 in Section 5307 Program Funds for Replacement Vehicles (ali 11.12.04) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2021 Tip # 2015-65-60).; Expected Outcomes: Franklin Transit Authority Shall Continue to Provide Operations to Residents of the Franklin/cool Springs Area.; Intended Beneficiaries: Franklin Transit Authority and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From the Fixed Route and Demand Response Services Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Riders to Get to Essential Services.; Subrecipient Activities: Finally Williamson County Will Use Funds for Operating Assistance (table 3A) in the Amount of $465748 for Its Vanpool Program (see Tip 2019-65-128). These Funds Will Come From the Fta FY2019 Federal Allocations (see Attached Letter). the 50% Match in the Amount of $325165 Will Come From Vanpool Fares. No Additional 5307 Funds Will Be Utilized for the Williamson County Vanpool Program. After This Application This Will Leave Williamson County $23087 Remaining in the FY19 Allocation for Future Applications.
