Purpose:the Franklin Transit Authority Is Requesting $1552087.00 in Section 5307 Federal Funds Allocated in the Federal Fiscal Year 2018 (FFY2018 $1120922) and 2019 (FFY2019 $431165) Apportionments as Described in the Attached Split Allocation Letters Dated December 18 2018 and September 10 2019 Respectively and to Cover Expenditures Incurred in FY2022: October 1 2021-SEPTEMBER 30 2022. Franklin Transit Authority Utilized $1876900 of the 2018 Apportionment in Three Previous Awards: TN-2019-021-01 ($300000) ; TN-2020-008-00 ($921 604); and TN-2021-012-00 ($655296). After This APPLICATION--5307 FY22 Franklin Transit Authority and Williamson County--franklin Transit Will Have $324431.00 Remaining for Future Applications.activities to Be Performed:this Application Includes Alis for Operating Assistance Preventive Maintenance Transit Planning Rent and Security. the Corresponding Tip Pages Have Been Attached to This Application Titled Tip Pages for Franklin Transit and Williamson County. the Franklin Transit Authority Is a Direct Recipient of Section 5307 Program Funds. Operating Assistance: This Grant Will Use $691922 in Section 5307 Program Funds for 3A Operating Assistance (ali 30.09.03) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2021 Tip # 2018-65-056). These Funds Will Come From the Fta FY18 Federal Allocation (see Attached Letter). the 50% Match of $691922 Will Come From the City of Franklin. Operating Assistance Includes Costs Necessary to Operate Maintain Manage Franklin Transit Such as Salaries and Fuel. Preventive Maintenance: This Grant Will Use $215000 in Section 5307 Program Funds for Preventive Maintenance (ali 11.74.00) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2020 Tip # 2011-65-016).TRANSIT Planning: This Grant Will Use $100000 in Section 5307 Program Funds for Transportation Planning (ali 44.24.00) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2021 Tip # 2019-65-129).RENT: This Grant Will Use $50000 in Section 5307 Program Funds for Leasing the Transit Fleet Facility (ali 11.46.04) for the Franklin Transit Authority (2021 Tip #2019-65-130).SECURITY and Safety: This Application Also Includes Funding for Security-related Projects to Assist the Transit Administration: Hardware Software and Subscription Used for Live Streaming Cameras That Are Placed in All Transit Buses. $20000 in 5307 Funds Are in the Ali 11.42.09. These Funds Will Come From the Fta FY18 and FY19 Federal Allocations (see Attached Letters). the 50% Match in the Amount of $325165 Will Come From Vanpool Fares. $150000 Has Also Been Allocated for Planning (see Tip 2019-65-131). the Corresponding Tip Pages Have Been Attached to This Application Titled Relevant Tip Table Pages. No Additional 5307 Funds Will Be Utilized for the Williamson County Vanpool Program. Williamson County Vanpool Utilized $16000 of the 2018 Apportionment in a Previous Award: TN-2020-008-00. After This Application Williamson County Vanpool Will Have Used Its Remaining FY18 Allocation and $431165 of Its FY19 Allocation. This Will Leave Williamson County $488835 Remaining in the FY19 Allocation for Future Applications.franklin Transit Authority Is Non-union and Is Currently Under a 5-YEAR Contract With the Tma Group for Operations and Maintenance. the Tma Group the City of Franklin and Williamson County When Using Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Funds Will Follow All 3RD Party Procurement Policies as Defined in C4220.IF. the Tma Group and the City of Franklin Will Ensure No Contractors Are on the Ftas Suspension and Debarment List.
