The Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) Is Applying for FY18 and FY20 Cmaq Funds That Have Transferred to Fta From Fhwa for the Purchase of Ten Electric Buses and the Associated Infrastructure and Operating Assistance for the First Three Years the Buses Are in Service. the Buses Will Operate on New Route 9 Which Will Provide Service Between Central Business District of Memphis and the Memphis International Airport via the Airways Transit Center and New Routes 10A and 10B Which Will Also Serve the Airport the Airways Transit Center and the American Way Transit Center. a Map Showing These Proposed Routes Is Attached to This Application. the Electric Charging Stations Will Be Installed at Matas Operating Facility Located at 1370 Levee Road Memphis TN 38108; the Hudson Transit Center Located at 444 N. Main Street Memphis TN 38105; the Airways Transit Center Located at 3033 Airways BLVD. Memphis TN 38131; and the American Way Transit Center Located at 3919-3921 American Way Memphis TN 38118. the Total of This Grant Is $19900000 With the Federal Share Being $15920000 ($11120000 in FY20 Cmaq Funds for the Electric Buses and Infrastructure and $4800000 in FY18 Cmaq Funds for Operating Assistance). the Non-federal Share of This Grant Will Be Provided by the City of Memphis ($3980000). This Amount Is Shown in the Attached Tip on Pages 161 and 163. the Operating Assistance Will Cover Expenses Associated With Providing Transit Service With the Electric Buses for Three Years Once the Buses Are Placed Into Revenue Service. the Expenses Will Cover Labor Fringe Benefits Services Materials and Supplies Insurance and Utilities. a Project Budget Showing These Operating Costs Is Attached to This Application. Mata Does Not Anticipate Purchasing Any Equipment Costing Over $5000 With the Operating Funds. If During the Year an Item(s) Is Acquired That Is Valued Over $5000 a Budget Revision Will Be Requested to Include the Description and Useful Life of the Item(s). This Project Has No Negative or Significant Environmental Impact on the Human or Natural Environment and Therefore Is Categorically Excluded From Nepa Requirements.mata Will Follow All Third Party Procurement Policies as Defined in Fta Circular 4220.1F and Will Ensure That Contractors Procured Will Not Be on the Fta Suspension and Debarment List.start Date Is: the Award Start Date Is the Same as the Date of Award.end Date Is: Mar 30 2029 This Application Does Not Include Funds for Research And/or Development Activities.indirect Costs Will Not Be Applied to This Application and Its Scope of Work.
