Delta Region Workforce Training Program - the South Alabama Rural Training Program (SART) in Collaboration With the Alabama Delta Region Collaborative (ADRC) Network, Will Implement Proven Coordinated Approach Involving a Multi-sector Program to Improve Healthcare Delivery in Rural Areas by Training Future and Current Health Professionals for Good Paying Jobs in the Rural Counties and Address the Ongoing Need in Healthcare Facilities for Trained Administrative Support Professionals in Rural Communities in Alabama. the Primary Anticipated Outcome of the Project Is to Provide Training and Pathways to Professional Certifications to Current Administrative Support Professionals Working in Rural Alabama Health Care Facilities as Well as New Entrants to the Workforce and Dislocated Workers. the Target Population for This Project Are All Adults 18+, Which Include Specific Vulnerable Populations, Youth Enrolled in Their Junior or Senior Year of High School, Youth Who Have Dropped Out of School, First Generation College Students, Veterans, Racial Minorities, Persons Who Live in Rural and Medically Underserved Areas, and Dislocated Workers.
