Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Fund the Purchase and Installation of a CNG Station the Purchase of 4 35 CNG Buses to Replace 4 Diesel Buses and the Provision of Cng-related Training to Gtas Mechanics.; Activities Performed: This Application Is for Funding to Cover Costs Associated With the Purchase and Installation of a CNG Station the Purchase of 4 35 CNG Buses to Replace 4 Diesel Buses and the Provision of Cng-related Training to Gtas Mechanics.; Expected Outcomes: This Project Will Result in: 1) a Reduction of Total Emissions Through the Decrease in Number of Diesel Buses by Incorporation of CNG Buses Into Gtas Expanding Fleet; 2) Greater Economic Mobility for Transit Users; 3) Greater Racial Equity via Decreased Social Vulnerability of Transit Users; 4) Investment in Greenlinks Workforce by Providing Skillset Development Opportunities via On-the-job Training for Both Mechanics and Operators; and 5) Another Step Toward a Zero-emission Fixed Route Fleet.
