All Work Will Be Ada Compliant. These Funds Will Also Support the Installment and Maintenance of New Zero-emissions Vehicle Infrastructure.- Preventive Maintenance for the Period of 10/01/2022 - 03/31/2023 ($21665801 Total / $17332641 / $4333160 Local) - This Project Ensures Riptas Vehicles Equipment and Facilities Are Maintained in a State of Good Repair. - Complementary Ada Paratransit Service for the Period of 06/01/2022-02/28/2023 ($3750000 Total / $3000000 Fed / $750000 Local) - This Project Funds Ongoing Operating Assistance for Riptas Ada Paratransit Services. - Mobility Management for the Period of 05/01/2023 01/31/2024 ($775000 Total / $620000 Fed / $155000 Local) - This Project Funds Administrative Support Including Scheduling to Riptas Paratransit Services. - Job Access and Reverse Commute Operating Assistance for the Period of 06/01/2022 to 07/31/2023 ($3200000 Total / $1600000 Fed / $1600000 Local) - This Project Funds Ongoing Operating Assistance for Fixed Route and Paratransit Services Associated With Three Routes Targeted at Increased Access to Jobs for Low-income Communities. - Short Long-range Planning Activities ($727676 Total / $582140 Fed / $145536 Local) -this Project Funds Planning Activities to Enhance Riptas Transit Operations. - Security Enhancements to Riptas Facilities ($400000 Total / $336090 Fed / $84023 Local) - This Project Funds Security Upgrades Facilities Such as Cameras Gates Fences and Card Readers for the Safety of Ripta Employees and the General Public.; Expected Outcomes: Funding Will Permit Ripta to Continue to Provide Safe Reliable Service and Maintain Existing Fleet and Agency Facilities. It Will Also Allow for Planning Initiatives for Expansion of Service And/or Other Outcomes Outlined in in the Upwp.; Intended Beneficiaries: Ripta and Passengers in Rhode Island Will Benefit From the Capital and Operating Funds Within This Award as They Will Allow for Ripta to Maintain Its Existing Fleet and Passenger and Administrative Facilities.; Subrecipient Activities: None
