The Trabuco Canyon Water District (district) Provides Portable Water, Recycled Water, and Wastewater Services to a Total Population of Approximately 14,000. the District Manages a 66-MILE Water Distribution System With Approximately 4,118 Service Connections. the Dove and Tick Creek Pump Station Improvements Drought Resiliency Project Will Upgrade the Dove and Tick Creek Pump Stations to Increase Capture of Both Dry Weather Runoff and Stormwater (wet Weather Flows) to Produce 200 Acre-feet Per Year of New Non-potable Water, Delivering Water From Alternative Sources, Reducing Localized Flooding, and Improving Ecosystem Benefits to Downstream Native Habitat Through Reduced Impacts of Dry Weather Flows.the Major Components of the Project Include But Are Not Limited to: Modifying Existing Bypass Structure to Minimize Debris Buildupdebris Capture System Improvements Installation of Precast Wet Well Top and Lid at the Tick Creek Pump Stationinstallation of Precast Wet Well Top and Lid at the Tick Creek Pump Stationinstallation of Two Pumps at the Tick Creek Pump Stationmodify Discharge Piping to Facilitate New Pumps and Replace Flowmeterelectrical Upgrades, Including a Local Disconnect at Tick Creek Pump Stationprogramming and System Integration at the Tick Creek Pump Station New Desilting Basin at Tick Creek Pump Stationchannel, Inlet, Approach Entry, and Piping Improvements at Dove Pump Station
