Award Purpose: Through the Small-scale Water Efficiency Projects, Reclamation Provides Cost Shared Financial Assistance to States, Tribes, Irrigation Districts, Water Districts, and Other Entities With Water or Power Delivery Authority to Implement Small-scale Water Efficiency Projects That Have Been Prioritized Through Planning Efforts Led by the Applicant. These Projects Are Generally in the Final Design Stage Environmental and Cultural Resources Compliance Have Been Initiated or Already Completed and the Non-federal Funding, Necessary Permits, and Other Required Approvals Have Been Secured.fremont-madison Irrigation District (FMID) Proposes to Install Remote Operating and Automation Equipment on Three Main Water Control Structures and Collect Data and Operate Them From Their Existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Computer System. This Project Is in Partnership With Three Canal Companies the Fmid Delivers Storage Water to. They Are Southeast Idaho Canal Company, Enterprise Irrigation District and Rexburg Irrigation Canal Company. This Project Will Help Manage Water More Efficiently on 14,855 Acres of Irrigated Cropland, Bolster Partnerships, and Promote Conservation Among Water Users Within Their Service Area. This Project Will Be Implementing an Alternative in the 2015 Henrys Fork Basin Study That Was Written in Cooperation With the Bureau of Reclamation.activities to Be Performed: the Recipient Shall Install Automation Equipment on Existing Diversion Structures for Three Main Canal Diversions Within Our Water Delivery System and to Install One Measurement Station at the End of the Enterprise Canal to Monitor Spill Water. the Remote Operating and Automation Equipment Will Connect to the Existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) for Remote Gate Operation.the Project Will Take Place Within These Locations: the Enterprise Canal Is Located Approximately 4 Miles East of Chester, Idaho.the Twin Groves Canal Is Located Approximately 1 Mile Northeast of ST.
