1. Award Purpose:this Agreement Covers Trinity County Participation in Activities Under the Authority of Section 3406(B)(1) That Rectify the Physical Impacts Sustained by Operation of the TRD. Impacts Include Changes in the Physical Habitat in the Trinity River That Affect the Health and Well-being of the Public by Affecting Domestic Water Sources, Septic Systems, and Other Physical Infrastructure. Assist in Restoring the River and Surrounding Habitats in Order to Protect Local Fish and Other SPECIES.2. Activities to Be Performed: Primary Emphasis Will Be on TMC Participation, Fema Efforts and on Technical Assistance From Trinity County Department of Transportation and Planning Department. Funding Available Through This Cooperative Agreement Will Ensure That Trinity County Employees Are Supported Financially When Working on All Aspects of TRRP Project Implementation Including But Not Limited to: 1) Participation in Meetings and Collaboration Through Project Site Planning and Design Process, 2) Department of Transportation On-site Technical Assistance and Implementation Support Activities, 3) Coordination and Production of Environmental Documentation as Needed (e.g., Nepa/ceqa Documents, Fema Coordination for Floodplain Development, and Project Permit Approval), 4) Trinity Management Council (TMC) Participation; 5) Identification and Planning Assistance for Critical Infrastructure Needs in Relation to Trinity River Flows; 6) Realty Actions in the Form of Rights-of-entry, Right-of-way, and Flow EASEMENTS.3.PROJECTED Deliverables or Outcomes:overall This Cooperative Agreement Is Meant to Support Coordination Between Reclamation's TRRP and the Trinity County So That Legal Guidelines May Be Efficiently Met. the Cooperative Agreement Is Intended to Ensure That TRRP Projects Along the Trinity River Corridor May Efficiently Use Trinity County Staff and Resources to Maximize the Effectiveness of TRRP Projects in Implementing the Record of DECISION.4. Intended Beneficiaries:the Purpose of the Trinity Management Council Is to Provide Overall Guidance and Direction to the Trinity River Restoration Program in Order to Restore, Enhance, and Conserve Natural Production of Anadromous Fisheries, Native Plant Communities, and Associated Wildlife Resources to the Trinity River Basin in Sufficient Quantity and Quality to Ensure Long-term Sustainability. 5.SUBRECIPIENT Activities (if Known or Specified at Time of Award): N/a
