Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Project Is to Cover Operational Expenses Incurred Train Staff Improve Security and Update Vehicles and Pedestrian Infrastructure Which Are Deteriorated and Have Exceeded Their Useful Life .; Activities Performed: A.section 5307 Fundsproject 1. - Capital Expenses for Reconstruction of Sidewalks in the Town Center; Preventive Maintenance Cost for Transit and Paratransit Vehicles and Facilities Maintenance During the Current and Past Fiscal Years; Replacement of Six (6) 30 FT Vehicles and Two (2) Paratransit Vans and Employee Trainings.project 2. - Operating Assistance for Fixed-route Transit (special Rule Funding for Fy 2022 and Fy 2023) for Expenses Incurred in the Current and Preceding Year (ffy 2025 and 2026).PROJECT 3 - Operational Assistance for the Provision of Paratransit Services for Years Fy 2025 and Fy 2026B.SECTION 5339 Fundsproject 4. -capital Expenditures for Installation of Camera Surveillance System for the Public Transportation Terminal and Replacement of Two (2) Out of Seven (7) Bus Shelters Along Main Transit Route.; Expected Outcomes: the Outcome Upon the Completion of the Activities in This Grant Application Include: the Continuation of Transit Service at No Cost to Riders; Improved Access to Transit Stops for Pedestrians and Particularly Persons With Disabilities That Today Venture Into Street Traffic Because Sidewalks Are Too Narrow or in Poor Condition; and More Consistent Transit Service Since Old Buses to Be Replaced Often Break Down Causing Service Interruptions.; Intended Beneficiaries: This Grant Will Benefit All the Residents of Juncos and Visitors Who Will Have a Accessible Safe and Consistent Public Transportation Service Throughout the Municipality.; Subrecipient Activities: There Are No Subrecipients.
