Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Application Is to Request Fta Section 5307 Funds for Operating Assistance for the Ada Paratransit Service Preventive Maintenance for the Existing Five-vehicle Fleet and Section 5339 Funds for the Acquisition of a Service Vehicle to Support the Transportation Program.; Activities Performed: Operating Eligible Activities to Be Performed With This Section 5307 Grant Are Drivers Salaries Fringes Fuel and Supplies. Third-party Contracting Includes Project Administration and Drug and Alcohol Testing. Preventive Maintenance Eligible Activities Include Oil Changes General Check-ups Brake Changes Tire Replacements Alignment and Others. Section 5339 Assistance Will Be Used to Acquire a Service Vehicle. the Municipality Has Included a Detailed Budget With This Application.; Expected Outcomes: the Expected Outcomes of This Grant Are: a) to Provide the Means for Keeping the Buses Running in a Time When Other Transportation Public or Private Is Not Readily Availableb) Allow the Program Employees to Be Able to Work and Work Safelyc) Provide Full-time and Continuous Ada Transportation Services to an Extremely Poor Population D) Maintain a Well-managed Federally Compliant Transportation Service E) Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards F) Prevent Service Interruptions for Lack of Adequate Maintenance to Vehicles Andh) Preserve the Useful Life of the Existing and New Vehicles.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Grant Benefits the Everyday Users of the Anasco Transportation System Which Covers All of the Town by Providing Safe and Timely Service to These Rural Areas. the Beneficiaries of Paratransit Services Are the Anasco Municipality Riders That Rely on Its Ada Paratransit Service With No Other Means for Commuting or Getting to Work. the Population 60 Years and Over in Anasco Accounts for 27.7% or 7236 of Its 2020 Population. of This Elderly Population 53.8% Have at Least One Type of Disability and 41.3% Are Below 100 Percent of the Poverty Level.
