Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Award Is to Cover Operating Costs for One Year Facilities Preventive Maintenance for Two Years and to Acquire and Develop Capital Projects.; Activities Performed: the Activities to Be Performed Are : Provide Two Years of Ada Paratransit Operating Assistance and Fixed Routes Operating Assistance During the Period of 7/01/2023 to 6/30/2024 Acquisition of Two (2) Vehicles to Support Ptasp/security Management/tam Sitras Platform and Dashboard Acquisition Programming and Installation of Automated/ Digitalize Operational Information System for 29 Sitras Buses Monthly Configuration Updates Program Payment for Three Years Acquisition of Equipment for Paratransit Program Facilities Preventive Maintenance for Two Years Fleet Preventive Maintenance Payroll Cost for Two Years and Project Administration.; Expected Outcomes: Continue Employing Sitras Personnel Without Having to Lay Off Any of Them as a Result of Critical Economic Conditions; to Continue Offering Zero-fare Transportation Services for Residents and Visitors of Ponce; to Promote the Economic Development of Ponce and Adjacent Towns; to Maintain Sitras Facilities in a Good and Healthy Environment Minimizing COVID-19 and Other Pathogens Contagious ; to Acquire Ppe Alcohol and Disinfectants Products to Use Them as a Preventive Method to Reduce the Risk of COVID-19 and Other Pathogens Spreading Among Employees and Sitras S Users and Digitalize the Management and Operation of Sitras.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Municipality of Ponce and the Riders That Rely on Its Service Will Benefit From Continued Services Permitting Workers to Get to Work and Riders to Get to Essentials Services.; Subrecipient Activities: None
