Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Application Is to Request Additional Relief Funds Under the American Rescue Plan Act Arpa Fta for Operating Assistance and Preventive Maintenance of the Fta Section 5307 Fleet Fixed Route Services.; Activities Performed: Operating Activities to Be Performed With This Grant Are Drivers Salaries Fringes Fuel Sanitizing Materials and Supplies. Preventive Maintenance Activities Include Oil Changes General Check-ups Brakes Change Tire Replacements Alignment and Others. Third-party Contractual Includes Drug and Alcohol Testing Technical Assistance and Internal Audits Which Will Support Program Compliance. the Municipality Has Included With This Application a Detailed Budget.; Expected Outcomes: the Expected Outcomes With This Grant Are: (1) Help Prevent Respond and Recover From the Pandemic; (2) Provide the Means for Keeping the Buses Running in a Time When Other Transportation Public or Private Is Not Readily Available; (3) Allow the Program Employees to Be Able to Work and Work Safely; (4) Provide Full-time and Continuous Transportation Services to an Extremely Poor Population; (5) Maintain a Well-managed Federally Compliant Transportation Service F) Meet Preventive Maintenance Standards; (6) Prevent Service Interruptions for Lack of Adequate Maintenance to Vehicles and; (7) Preserve the Useful Life of Existing Vehicles.; Intended Beneficiaries: This Project Benefits the Everyday Users of the Anasco Transportation System by Providing Safety in Terms of Hygiene Safety Infection Control and Timely Service to These Rural Areas. the Population of Anasco as Per Census 2020 Was 26419 With a Level of Poverty of 45.5%. Most of the Public Transportation Users Are Low and Very Low-income Citizens at Least 20% of Them Elderly and Have No Other Means for Commuting.; Subrecipient Activities: There Will Not Be Subrecipient Activities With This Grant.
