Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Is to Provide Funds for Operating Assistance and to Mmvtas Capital Program.; Activities Performed: - Operating Assistance to Mmvta During Their Fy 2026 (july 1 2025 Through June 30 2026);- Engineering Design Services for a Multimodal Transit Hub in the Speers Industrial Park; and- Replacement of Bus Maintenance Equipment to Include an In-ground Vehicle Lift.; Expected Outcomes: the Operating Assistance Funds Will Aid in the Daily Operations of Mmvtas Fixed Route System Being Adequately Funded to Provide the Expected Capacity of Service; the Implementation of Engineering Design Services Will Aid in the Development of a Multimodal Transit Hub and Will Ensure That the Project Complies With All Federal State and Local Requirements and Includes Proper Safety Measures; and the Replacement of Maintenance Equipment Helps to Ensure Bus Maintenance Efforts Are Met in a Productive and Safe Environment for Fixed Route Vehicles and Staff.; Intended Beneficiaries: Mmvta Employees and Contractors Mmvtas Assets Riders of Mmvtas Fixed Routes and Other Individuals and Stakeholders That Benefit From Mmvta Public Transportation Services in This Area of Southwestern Pennsylvania Known Locally as the Mid Mon Valley.; Subrecipient Activities: N/a
