Application Purpose: to Provide Funds to the Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA) on Behalf of Cumberland-dauphin- Harrisburg-dauphin Transit Authority (CDH) and Central Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (CPTA) Demolition and Construction Costs for an Operations/maintenance Facility Shop Tools and Equipment the Purchase of Fixed Route Vehicles Purchase of Shared Ride Vehicles and the Upgrade to Its Fare Collection System.; Activities Performed: This Grant Will Contain Multiple Activities. Projects Will Be Used to Fund Demolition/construction Costs for Srta (CDH) at 901 N. Cameron Street Harrisburg Pa 17101 the Purchase of Vehicles (both Fixed Route and Shared Ride) the Upgrade and Replacement of the Current Fare Collection System for Both York Pa and Harrisburg. Pa Locations and the Purchase of Maintenance Tools and Equipment.; Expected Outcomes: the Results of the Projects Will Be to Keep the Fleet of Vehicles Current and in Proper Working Order. New Vehicles Feature the Latest Technology and Decreased Maintenance Costs. in Addition There Will Be Benefits to the General Public as Our System Upgrades the Fare Collection System Which Will Include Farebox Improvements and Upgrades to the Fare Media the Public Is Able to Use. This Should Allow for More Efficiency and Easier Use of Our Service by the Public. Internally a New Facility and Maintenance Equipment Will Benefit Staff. It Is Important for Maintenance Staff to Have the Proper Tools and Equipment in Order to Perform Their Jobs Effectively and Safely and the New Facility Will Add Safety for Current Staff as Operations and Maintenance Will Be Segregated Form Admin Staff and There Will Be Dedicated Pedestrian and Vehicle Paths.; Intended Beneficiaries: the Beneficiaries Will Be the Riders of Our Service in York Harrisburg and Hanover as Well as the Staff at Each of Those Locations.; Subrecipient Activities: None
