Application Purpose: the Purpose of This Grant Is to Provide Funding for Operating and Capital Assistance to Mmvta.; Activities Performed: - Operating Assistance (including Security-related Operating Assistance) to Mmvta During Their Fy 2025 (july 1 2024 Through June 30 2025);- Extended Warranty for Farebox System; - Farebox System Services (in Regards to the Replacement of a Farebox Equipment/system Which as Passed Useful Life); and- Systemwide Route Study and Design; Expected Outcomes: the Operating Assistance Funds Will Aid in the Daily Operations of Mmvtas Fixed Route System Being Adequately Funded to Provide the Expected Capacity of Service; the Extension of the Farebox Warranty Will Help to Ensure Accurate Collection and Reporting of All Ridership and Fare Collections Data Which Is Used for Accurate Government Reporting; Farebox System Services Will Ensure That the New Farebox System Will Properly Operate as Effectively and Efficiently as Possible; and the Development of a Systemwide Transit Study to Assess the Feasibility of Restructuring Mmvtas Fixed Route Services to Provide More Efficient and Needed Services to the Public.; Intended Beneficiaries: Mmvta Employees and Contractors Mmvtas Assets Riders of Mmvtas Fixed Routes and Other Individuals and Stakeholders That Benefit From Mmvta Public Transportation Services in This Area of Southwestern Pennsylvania Known Locally as the Mid Mon Valley.; Subrecipient Activities: None
