Application Purpose: This Application Utilizes Federal Section 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Funds for Preventive Maintenance the Purchase of Two (2) New Less Than 30-FOOT Buses and the Purchase of New and Replacement Equipment to Improve and Maintain Beaver County Transit Authoritys Fixed Route and Demand Response Public Transportation System.; Activities Performed: the Following Projects Will Be Completed Utilizing the 5307 Uza Funding in the Application and the Funds From the Disposition of Buses: Preventive Maintenance; Purchase Replacements for Two (2) Fixed-route Buses That Have Reached the End of Their Useful Life; Purchase One (1) Pressure Washer; Purchase One (1) Floor Scrubber; Purchase Bus Stop Signs Lighting at Benches Bike Racks and Solar Panels for Bus Shelters; Migrate the Telephone System to Voice Over Internet Protocol (VIP) or to a Cloud-based Platform; and Migrate Avail Erp Financial System to a Cloud-based Platform. Regular Replacement of Vehicles/rolling Stock That Has Reached the End of the Useful Life Helps Ensure Bctas Fleet Is Safe and in a State of Good Repair Thus Meeting the Requirement to Allocate Not Less Than 0.75 Percent of Section 5307 Funds to Safety-related Projects.
