Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA) Is Applying for the Full Amount of the Ffy 2021 Section 5307 American Relief Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) Funds Which Is Allocated to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (penndot) and Apportioned to the State College Pa Urbanized Area in the Amount of $9899413 for Operating Assistance for the Period Beginning March 1 2022 Through July 31 2024.A Total of $9899413 Has Been Suballocated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Centre Area Transportation Authority (state College Pa). the Pa Governors Apportionment Split Letter Dated April 9 2021 Is Attached in Trams.per the Arpa Funding Will Be Provided at 100 Percent (100%) Federal Share With No Local Match Required.per the Arpa the Projects in This Application Are Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan (TIP) or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (stip).the Recipient Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.purpose: This Application Utilizes Arpa Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. This Grant Will Relieve Cata From Funding Deficit for Operating Expenses Incurred During the Period of Performance of the Grant.activities to Be Performed: the Entirety of the Arpa Funds Will Be Applied Towards Operating Assistance for Operating Expenses During the Period of Performance Beginning March 1 2022 Through July 31 2024. the Application Scope of Work Includes Precautions Taken for COVID-19 Such as Salaries Benefits Maintenance and Operations Expenses Personal Protective Equipment for Both Employees and Patrons Professional Cleaning Sanitization Barriers for Staff Fuel and Items Having a Useful Life of Less Than One Year. as Well as Administration Leave for Operations Employees Who Are Affected Due to Service Reduction or Potential Exposure to an Individual Infected With COVID-19 That Needs Quarantine.
