Application Purpose: This Application Utilizes Federal Section 5307 Urbanized Area Formula Funds for the Purchase of New and Replacement Equipment to Improve and Maintain Beaver County Transit Authoritys Fixed Route and Demand Response Public Transportation System.; Activities Performed: the Following Projects Will Be Completed Utilizing the 5307 Uza Funding in the Application: Purchase Two (2) Replacement Support Vehicles That Have Reached the End of Their Useful Life; Perform a Midlife Engine Overhaul on Six (6) Mci Coach Buses; Purchase a Bus in Box Avl Training Equipment; Purchase Mobile Device Charging Stations and Electronic Messaging Signs for the Customer Service Areas Located in the Rochester Transportation Center and the Expressway Travel Center; Purchase a Single Point Login Interface for the Vehicle Locator System and Farebox System; Purchase a Replacement Hvac System for the Expressway Travel Center Maintenance/operations Facility That Has Reached the End of Its Useful Life.; Expected Outcomes: Continue to Provide and Maintain Clean Safe Customer-focused and Reliable Transit Service to the Beaver County Communities by Modernizing and Keeping Equipment and Facilities in a State of Good Repair.; Intended Beneficiaries: Beaver County Transit Authority Employees and the Residents of Beaver County Pa.; Subrecipient Activities: None
