Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) Is Applying for the Full Amount of Ffy 2020 Section 5307 Cares Act Application Apportioned to the Scranton Pa Urbanized Area and Allocated to Lcta in the Amount of $7760096 for Operating Assistance Ada Paratransit and Preventive Maintenance. Per the Cares Act the Grant Requests 100% Federal Share. This Application Utilizes Cares Act Funding to Prevent Prepare for and Respond to Coronavirus. These Funds Will Be Used to Reimburse Lcta for Operating Maintenance Ada and Various COVID-19 Related Expenses Beginning January 20 2020. Application Scope of Work INCLUDES:1.OPERATING Assistance- $3500000 to Support the Operating Assistance of Fixed Route and Paratransit Services for the Period of January 20 2020 Through July 1 2021.2. Non-fixed Route Ada Paratransit- $560096 to Support the Non-fixed Route Ada Paratransit Service for the Period Beginning January 20 2020 Through April 1 2021.3. Preventive Maintenance (PM) - $3700000 for the Period Beginning January 20 2020 Through February 1 2022. the Split Letter Dated April 6 2020 Is Attached in Trams and to This Application Record.the Recipient Agrees That If It Receives Federal Funding From the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or Through a Pass-through Entity Through the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act a Different Federal Agency or Insurance Proceeds for Any Portion of a Project Activity Approved for Fta Funding Under This Grant Agreement It Will Provide Written Notification to Fta and Reimburse Fta for Any Federal Share That Duplicates Funding Provided by Fema Another Federal Agency or an Insurance Company.per the Cares Act the Project(s) in This Application Is Not Required to Be Programmed in the Long-range Transportation Plan or Statewide Transportation Improvement Program.
