Watershed Management Group (WMG) and Project Partners Aim to Enhance the Existing Community-driven Beaver Monitoring Survey in the Upper San Pedro River Basin by Expanding It to the Middle and Lower Reaches of the River. This Expansion Will Improve Understanding of Habitat Suitability Along the Entire River and Foster Connections Among Local Communities and Practitioners for Landscape-scale Riparian Conservation. Survey Data Will Be Shared With National Park Service Staff and Other Organizations to Inform Adaptive Management Strategies. Additionally, Information About Beavers and Survey Results Will Be Integrated Into Educational Materials for Community Members and Park Visitors. Beneficiaries Include Profit Organizations, Public Nonprofit Institutions Organizations, Private Nonprofit Institutions Organizations, Non-federal Government Entities, Industry and Public Decision Makers, Research Scientists, Engineers, and the General Public.
