Fresh Brook Is a Springfed Stream in Wellfleet, Ma Within the Boundary of Cape Cod National Seashore. This Project Will Initiate Prerestoration Monitoring of the Stream Conditions and Support Postrestoration Monitoring to Document Changes in Stream Ecology and Help Determine Restoration Success. the Design and Implementation of Monitoring Activities on Fresh Brook. Monitoring Will Focus on Documenting Existing Conditions in the Stream as Well as Documenting How Stream Conditions Change Following the Removal of the Weir. Monitoring Will Begin Prior to Restoration to Establish a Baseline. Monitoring Will Continue Postrestoration to Document Change. All Data Will Be Managed, Synthesized and Shared Back With the Park. to Assist With Resource Management Decisions. Beneficiaries Include Cape Cod National Seashore and the Town of Wellfleet.
