The Project Aims to Create Employment and Educational Opportunities for Young People in America by Protecting Rehabilitating and Enhancing the Natural Landscapes and Communities. This Will Be Achieved Through Activities Such as Service Training Education and Employment. Los Angeles Conservation Corps Established in 1986 Specializes in Youth Development Projects That Promote Education Provide Job Training and Encourage Responsible Citizenship Through Active Community Involvement. Los Angeles Conservation Corps and Manzanar National Historic Site Will Work Together to Deepen the Understanding Appreciation and Preservation of Natural and Cultural Resources in the National Parks. Personnel From the Los Angeles Conservation Corps and NPS Will Collaborate to Engage Underprivileged and Diverse Youth in Preserving and Improving Natural and Cultural Resources Offering Educational and Work Experiences and Supporting the Development of Responsible Citizenship and Meaningful Community Involvement.
