This Program Utilizes Qualified Nonprofit Youth and Veteranserving Organizations to Carry Out Appropriate Natural and Cultural Resource Conservation Education Volunteer Service and Education Projects on Department of the Interior Lands Through Authorized National Park Service Programs. This Project Targets the Goals and Values Outlined Under the Legacy Restoration Fund Maintenance Action Team a Servicewide Facility Maintenance Program Which Will Support Engage and Stimulate Maintenance and Preservation Trades Work While Providing Transferrable Skills Training and an Ethic of Resource Stewardship to Program Participants. This Project Directly Addresses the Deferred Maintenance Backlog at Small and Medium Sized National Parksbeneficiaries Include Private Nonprofit Institutions and Organizations Public and Private Nonprofit Academic Institutions State and Local Government Agencies Quasipublic Nonprofit Institutions and Organizations That Support Youth and Young Adult Career Training and Development and Education in the Areas of Natural and or Cultural Resource Conservation and Management. Individuals Families Students and the General Public Will Receive a Benefit From the Development and Execution of These Programs and Projects.
