15.962: Implementation of the Wood-pawcatuck Wild and Scenic River Stewardship Plan:the Award Purpose Is to Fund Implementation of the Wood-pawcatuck Wild and Scenic River Stewardship Plan Through the Local Administrative Model of the Wood-pawcatuck Wild and Scenic River Stewardship Council (council). Funds Implement Annual Workplans Developed by the Council for Stewardship Plan Implementation, Including Engagement of Riverfront Communities, Non-governmental Partners, and State and Local Agencies. Projects and Initiatives Include: Scientific Research Public Outreach, Education and Engagement Recreation Management and Enhancement Historical and Cultural Preservation, Public Planning and Related Projects and Initiatives. Projects Are Overseen by the Council in Close Association With the NPS and the Westerly Land Trust. the Westerly Land Trust Serves as the Cooperative Agreement Recipient and Manages the Funds on Behalf of the Council.
