This Program Supports Projects That Further the Mission of the National Park Service and Efforts in Natural and Cultural Resource Conservation, Protection, and Environmental Sustainability That Are Not Covered Under Other Specific Financial Assistance Programs. This Project Agreement Provides a Vehicle to Help National Park Units With Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Projects While Encouraging Partners With Shared Goals to Participate and Leverage Non-federal Dollars to Match Onps Dollars. This Partnership Between the NPS and the Recipient Provides an Efficient Model for Identifying and Funding Projects That Benefit National Parks, National Trails, and Wild and Scenic Rivers. the Goal Is to Reach Out to a Broad Audience of Qualified Organizations, Supporting and Contributing to NPS Conservation, Outdoor Recreation and Stewardship Projects While Achieving Mutual Partnership Goals. Beneficiaries Include Profit Organizations, Public Nonprofit Institutions Organizations, Private Nonprofit Institutions Organizations, Non-federal Government Entities, Industry and Public Decision Makers, Research Scientists, Engineers, and the General Public.
