School for Advanced Research Will Collaborate With Expert Consultants From Each of the Two Communities, Pueblo of Acoma and Pueblo of Tesuque. the Purpose of This Project Is to Achieve Clear Identification of Items in Sars Acoma and Tesuque Pueblo Collections That Are Subject to Compliance With Nagpra Return the Identified Items to the Source Communities Culturally Appropriate Housing, Handling, Documentation, and Access for the Remaining Items and Information About Sars Process and Outcomes Are Published and Disseminated to Professional Groups and Communities That Might Use Them as a Model for Their Own Nagpra Compliance Efforts.
