This Project Will Verify and Archive Past, Erosional Hotspots (EH) as Well as Document Current Hotspots Through Historical Analysis of Maps and Aerial Photographs (1836 -2021), Field Surveys and Lidar Coverages (2005-2018) Delineation of the Bluff Crest and Bluff Toe, Slumping on the Bluff Face, Presence Absence of Vegetation on the Bluff Crest, Toe and Face, Shoreline Position, Offshore Bathymetry, Nearshore Sand Bars, and Other Geomorphological Features on an Off Shore. These Data Are Essential to Determine Spatial Extent of Change Through Time. Beneficiaries Include Cape Cod National Seashore, State and Local Governments, Federally Recognized Indian Tribal Governments, Public Private Nonprofit Organizations, Nonprofit Institutions of Higher Education, and the General Public).
